    GA finally confirms an offer was made to Reece Welch a few days ago and is confident he will sign over the weekend.

    A decision about Aaron Lewis will be made over the weekend.

    Not seen any of the friendlies so cannot comment, however, you are probably correct.

    A good age to develop with us and hopefully a regular starter in future.

    I would rather go down this route than signing the likes of Heneghan and Roberts.

    I don't disagree, but my post wasn't about that. I thought (wrongly as it turned out), that yesterday was the first game Powell had played with a squad number, hence why I thought it might have been a bit of an error on the club's part to do that without making an official announcement.

    I believe an offer has been on the table all summer. Im guessing 1 is similar to last season, short deal and performance related and another is a full fat contract and it was up to Powell to prove he deserves the latter.

    Parker said a deal has not yet been done which is correct it hadn’t and still hasn’t. He didn’t say no deal was on offer.

    Have just heard we approached Archie Collins a couple of weeks ago about joining but his agent is asking for stupid wages so didn't get far.
