He signed a 2 year deal i heard.

No idea how far it went before they changed, but apparently he was in talks with Salford to go there until Salford starting make ambitious bids around the EFL and the Langstaff move started taking shape. Guessing he didn't want to go somewhere and be second fiddle again, at least at Rotherham he will be the main man up top.

People say he's lazy because they notice every time he huffs (almost constantly! But then so did Cook) but dont notice any of his pressing or 70 yard runs back to try and make tackles, which he does far more often than I suspect people realise / care to notice

What I think the real issue is is that he switches off all the time meaning he's not ready to make the presses or runs immediately, which are a very important part of our game and which make it look like he's not trying to put the yards in - i think the issue isn't that he's not doing it but he's doing it a second too late most of the time because he's distracted not paying attention or moaning about something

Didn’t really get a chance with us. Needs to work on his fitness if he does he has a chance of doing well

Humphrey is to laid back for his own good. He has the attributes to be a really good player but he doesn’t seem to want it enough. He is like many others who preceded talented but no heart

Distracted because by his own admission, he's finds playing football boring a lot of the time.

Welch and Lewis are the only 2 trialists we have in the squad now says Parker, both on the bench tonight.

Hopefully Welch gets at least a full half tonight to see what he can do. We are looking very thin on the ground at the back. Joe Wright still missing and now Gillesphey out tonight.

I wouldn't mind those two if we can add two more quality midfield signings as well.

Read McCall in today’s T&A Blackpool signed him as a right back but quickly moved him to midfield. He also played midfield on occasion for Stockport

Exactly - he started in midfield and ended up in their backline. If you review the data online you'll come to the same conclusion.

No he started as right back but they quickly moved him to midfield. He is obviously going to be a defensive minded midfielder but what did Power do going forward who in my opinion will be best remembered for his leadership rather than his play
