The taxi driver writing out a receipt whilst manoeuvring round rush hour central Naples will live long in the memory.

I have a similar memory after a night out in Pune.

Got a rickshaw home and the driver decided to do a U-turn to shorten the journey, straight into the path of an oncoming massive Tata truck. Stared death in the face then. Somehow we made it over to the next lane, with the acceleration of tortoise, as the truck thundered past us. Time is definitely relative.

 

What will you store your logs in now though?

Don't really use the stove these days. Gigangtic ,dirty,dusty pain in the butt.Keep a few bits to use in the garage in case of an emergency.

 

Remember when you got four for a quid in a booth. Now its a photo shoot in Max Spielmanns for a tenner

 

Our Sainsbury's still has a booth.

Can't remember how much it costs though.
