Season tickets 2026/27 (with Poll)

We have managed to secure our seats. Mick Lamb has been amazing.

My second attempt at applying for a blue badge was successful which will help with parking closer to the ground. I gave up halfway through the form on the first attempt.


So we are still season ticket holders.

 

Let’s hope you have many more and they are even more successful than the last two

JUat remember most of the blue badge spaces are gone before the turnstiles open on match days

 

He deserves a lot of praise for how much he helps out ...............not going into details but my pal aint in the best of health but Mick went above and beyond to get him sorted

 

I can’t remember the ground feeling that full back then. I’m certain a very large proportion of that 18000 were £30 phantom kids tickets and many others who rarely turned up.

 

I agree , it feels like it has more bums on seats now and a far better atmosphere
I have been going since the mid 70s and even though we are league one
It feels like a good time to be a city fan, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts

 

1500 short but price is twice as much. So not bad really

 

Also at that time I think season tickets were only £149 so for anyone looking to get their values worth they only had to go to at most 10 games which would work out at £15 per match meaning people could get one even if they could only get to 10 games. Last season with the prices being £299 to get it to be £15 per game you'd need to attend 20 games and to make it £20 per game you'd need to attend 15.
This has taken away a lot of the long distance fans or fans who can't commit to regular attendance.
16,000 is probably a good number for the club where it's enough to justify the prices and locks in a good amount of guaranteed income whilst leave around 5,000 home seats available for match tickets where we can generate good money throughout the season especially for the big games like Huddersfield or if we are doing well later on in the season.

 

That’s correct. Back then people were willing to sacrifice 13 games per season and still break even. Not anymore, so it’s a fair assumption that the 16000 who have bought a ST will attend most games.

The £46 under 12’s tickets are fantastic value for families who use them in the way intended.
I still suspect however they are being abused and need better scrutiny.

 

So you might have an adult who knows they can only attend a handful of games but they wish to still sit with friends on those occasions.
A child ticket could be purchased which would remain empty for the majority of the season and would only cost £46.

 

But then they would still have to buy an adult ticket for the games the adult wants to attend. So they are just using the kids ticket to reserve the seat?

sorry I misread your post. I mean the adult would simply scan the kids QR code because the turnstile operators ain’t that clever
