    New season approaches, new Sorare changes are nearly among us.

    Not sure if anyone has read into all the changes or has any opinion on their strategy this year? Here's when cards are available -

    Naturally, the one thing that interests me is we're getting Championship cards back. However, after seeing the prize structure for the streaks, there's no way I'm getting involved.

    380 points for streak 3 just for $2?! Absolutely madness. I knew they'd be replacing the first couple of streaks with essence, as that's what they've done in MLS, but seems a bit extreme for me.

    Personally as it stands, I've no interest this year in going into in season cards. I've enough classic cards to play all classic competitions to a half decent level and will enter arenas with the rest. From there, I'll use my essence to craft and sell the cards for total profit. This may all change if they start offering out market credits like they did last year, but at the moment, I'm not really feeling putting more money into Sorare. May have lost the hype with them giving us a quiet summer on the platform.

    My classic portfolio is not bad but a lot of my players have moved over this window and it remains to be seen whether some of them get as much gametime with moving to big clubs .I'm sure Simon built a page to track transfers in your cards but I don't seem to be able to find it

    Be careful with the coverage as Sorare hasn't updated all the coverage details for teams next season so some players who say they are covered but their team was relegated to an uncovered league and vice versa.

    I'm assuming they will update all update once we roll over fro GW92 to GW1

    Oh and I keep trying to read the articles to understand the changes but I keep zoning out after about a minute. They really need to make their blogs more concise

    I'm already hating the subs. When you know that you are going to be competing against people who are going to have a Carles Gil as their outfield sub can you really afford to not put the best player possible in as the sub. But then that means hindering the second lineup and that player might not even get used

    Almost seems like its forcing us to buy atleast 2 of all our best players

    You might actually get some good use out of your Jhon Durán card this season. He should get plenty of goals at Benfica

    I've just seen it. WTF is that? Considering they refuse to hire GAME DEVS and instead hire full stack devs where a big part of their job is UI how did they come up with something that makes such little sense?

    How much free credit did they give you all? I got £84 (so the full $100) Shame they reduced the expiry as it said 1 year initially and then they changed it to 2 months. 1 Year I could have waited for the prices to not be stupid and then used it

    I'll probably leave it to the last minute and see what the prices are and what I've crafted (or just beef up my MLS cards)
