Good quote but all that is important to him is the number of notes in his pocket even if he does kiss the badge when he scores.

I'm amazed to see how much these new spending rules cap clubs like MK. They clearly make next to sod all from crowds, but they'll have a massive budget this summer on the base of it. Are they making THAT much from sponsors to be able to afford that squad?

 

I think a lot of their income comes from events/concerts held at the stadium that are not football related.

 

Looks like Leicester are also bringing in Alex McCarthy, former PL goalkeeper. He's been Southamptons back up for the last 5 or 6 seasons.

 

Plymouth have had a £500k bid accepted for QPR keeper Murphy Cooper, he had his medical yesterday and was pictured at the training ground doing his media bits.

 

I think there’s an arena as part of the complex as well - darts, snooker, exhibitions, Xmas party nights etc…part of the ‘mother ship’ but nowt to do with football! Hope they fall flat on their faces !

 

Nathan Lowe has gone to Hibs on loan after signing a new contract with Stoke up to 2029. I know it's not elsewhere in league 1, but I fully expected him to end up at a club in this league and half expected it to be on a permanent deal.

 

Do the football club company own the stadium or are they both owned by the same holding comany?

 

Looks like Alessana Jatta could be leaving to join a Dutch side. Notts Co chewing over a £425k bid.
