    Interesting idea - our centre backs don't strike me as the quickest though - wonder how they compare to the rest of the league speed-wise.

    Phillips needs to play as far up the pitch as possible considering his output. I wouldnt be against Sarce dropping back as we have 3 terriific players (Jackson) vying for that starting RAM role. Sarce is a CM by trade.

    I don't think you can get those sort of statistics outside of the PL.. but I would imagine in-game GPS monitoring will provide EFL clubs with proprietary stats.

    Yeh BS IMO. I dont know why we just dont take a punt on Hutchinson at Bristol Rovers. Terrific numbers for a CM, good age and available.

    Saw a post from an Oxford fan today that said they were due to complete the signing of Wintle next week. Obviously they have had to cancel that due to the embargo.

    Wouldnt it be great if we could take advantage and get him signed now. Midfield general and captain sorted!

    It's possible that we're in a stronger position now than when we spoke to him in the summer with strong signings in it may convince him to sign with us instead

    Cannot see that one happening. He was loan out to Leicester in the Championship last season, so cant see why Man City would send him out to League 1 now.

    Small lad on one of the pics is Leroy Gomes from the under 19s on the pic.
    Was one of the scholars from last year along with Parr and Hewitt who have been in and around the squad this summer.
    All 3 got good minutes in a behind closed doors match against Sheffield United on Tuesday.
    The big lad on the pic is Reece Welch formerly of Everton.
    Yorkshire post reported the other week that Sheffield Wednesday were keen on him.

    Be a great signing but if we were in the mix and he has turned us down then we obviously didnt appeal at the time. I dont like the thought of us being the bridesmaid, especially to someone who is going to lead us.

    Weve just lost Power because of the M62 traffic. We need someone who is all in this time.
