    Wages would be very high since he's played premier league for 8 years. Also I feel like we need to move on from signing players with recent injuries they rarely ever work out and they are out injured by October.

    He was on around 25k a week at Blades. Dont see him coming to City for £10k a week. And why would you want to pay that when he is made of weetabix?

    Naturally you'd expect the club to do a thorough medical on any player. Some times players just have a bad period with injuries, if a medical came back with a clean bill of health id have no issue taking him on. The financial aspect for me would be the issue but again where theres a will theres a way

    Most players called Davies with injuries are willing to drop levels and wage demands to play for us.

    One of my favourite city players of all time is Andrew Davies. He was Premier league quality defender playing in league 2 and boy did it show.

    Don’t think we’ve seen a better CB since.

    Great player, a literal giant in defence at 6' 3" but an honorable mention has to go to my favourite defender, Dean Richards RIP.. homegrown talent who went on to greater things and died young.

    Sinnott, Richards, Youds, Moore, O'Brien, Wetherall, Davies are the top brass from my era as a City fan. Honorable mention to Reece Burke.

    Still cant believe Bruno never saw a minute of PL football at City after such a great season getting us up.

    Not forgetting Rory McArdle who was a cult hero when we were rampant in the league cup and promotion season 2013. He had a wicked diagonal lol.. and scored goals. Villa at home anybody?

    Just going to throw a name into the mix in Owen Dale 27 year old . He can play across the front and as a wing back so very versatile. He was also on loan at Plymouth from Oxford and is a now free agent. At his age he is probably coming into his peak, he also has loads of experience in L1.
