He was managed well and didn't come in with those expectations to play immediately.

If we look back to the start of last season, we didn't only have Metcalfe and Power - we still need to replace Pattison in terms of numbers.

 

Another one required for absolutely sure . Bailey would be on my no 1 wish list.

An outstanding and informative read BB . The age and performance parallels between Power / Metcalfe / Cartwright are astonishing . Congratulation to the team in finding , potentially , another gem . As Nathan indicates , just as we did with Jenson , it will take time for him to bed in . We were patient with him, we need to do the same with Cartwright.

 

Probably positionally irrelevant …the 45 mins are key for the 20 odd who played ?

 

Bailey would be the icing on the cake, summer recruitment wise. Alas, I think he will be beyond our financial reach.

 

You could well be right, however the club have kept everything close to their chest thus far, so Im sure there’s another surprise in the offing before Austria?
