    Still think we need 1 more central midfielder, 1 more centre back and competition for RWB, and perhaps another striker, although the impression is this would only happen if there were any outgoings?

    I'm intrigued to see where Phillips will play. Perhaps he allows more flexibility to change between a front three and a front two with him central and behind the front two?

    Overall happy with how we have upgraded the squad so. Defo seems to be a shift in the right direction re recruitment

    RWB - 100% needed to compete with Neufville.

    CB - we currently have 5 (albeit inc Lunn). Touray is a decent LCB option but that leaves us short at LWB cover. I can see why the tried for Elder.

    CM - 100%. Connolly, Cartwright and probably Lapslie the options currently there. Deffo need 1 more at least. Id prefer 2 as Lapslie can go for me.

    CF - Beasley, Swan, Humphrys, Jackson, Powell, Ibbitson the current options. Id sacrifice Swan and bring in another to really compete with Beasley.

    Not saying I agree with the above but that will be how GA sees his options IMO.

    Absolute proof City Vent know nothing, they are about as accurate as The Power of The Bantams or Alan Nixon.

    Remember last year when they had heard we had signed Wells and Rinomhota. A week or so back they posted Owen Bailey for clicks. Yesterday they posted the above and we signed Cartwright.

    I have no contacts and could easily go on twitter and post a random name to get excitement up.

    In summary never listen.to City Vent

    Well you dont know they are wrong on Conteh until he signs elsewhere. Just because we signed Cartwright doesnt mean we arent in for Conteh aswell. It wasnt 1 or the other.

    Quite right but to be fair if City Vent have posted it it 100% won't happen. Also I really don't see Conteh being an Alexander type player.

    Going from his write ups and the Barnsley fans, Phillips couldn't play deeper. They did it a few times and he just doesn't sit or defend he naturally goes forward and stays forward because thats his game. He's a proper 10 who wouldn’t fit in their 442 and was made available for a move. Reckon Sarce is more like to drop and Lapslie too before Phillips. They've played deeper for far longer in their careers.
