    Know nothing about that lad but I assume he is a replacement for Metcalfe. What I would say is Metcalfe had the benefit of a phased introduction to the team, with Leigh and Pattison initially ahead of him.

    By the sounds of it we won't be signing another midfielder so he's going to have to hit the ground running.

    Good luck to the lad. Good he got some experience in the SPL last season, so like Metcalfe isn’t totally new to the mens game.

    Never heard of him - but reading up, he was a regular in the Falkirk team that finished mid table in the SPL, and scored a screamer against Rangers. Looks like a direct Metcalfe replacement. 21, with 40+ first team appearances for a team at a similar level.

    Very promising indeed!

    I was there he didn’t and was most certainly talking in the round as opposed to an individual player. How people have got that twisted is beyond me.

    Cartwright sounds a very good signing for this level. Falkirk fans seem pretty gutted they didn't go for him, and apparently he had a good game against Rangers which got Russell Martin effectively sacked, so there's that.
