Yeah, Brook and Root in tandem by 3pm with lots of hands on hips. Looks a perfect day for batting.

 

Food is a challenge especially as a veggie. Growing your own there is very difficult, but can be done. The scat of the seabird population is a very effective fertiliser.

 

Especially when the bowling is buffet style.
Not picking Robinson was a poor call.

 

No Barnsley or Huddersfield at home for me this season.

Oxford away is a possibility.

Hopefully go to Sheffield Wednesday if I can get a ticket.

Decided (in my infinite wisdom) to wash my pillows this morning. My (oh so sensitive) washing machine decided that it didn't want to spin them so I now have 2 soggy lumps drip drying out in the sun.
Might end up pillowless tonight.

I think as a location it goes too high up the midge risk line. Going to need to come souther.

 

Watching Jury Duty Prsents Weekend Retreat on Prime. Everyone are actors apart from one person who believes it all real. First series was about a juror doing his duty. 2 nd is about a guy who joins a company on the their team building week. Really good easy watch

 

13 deg again and raining. Midges were murder this morning so I think you need to look more towards the borders, River Tweed area.
