Not sure who the other might be, but it makes no sense to me to withhold news of signings.

If it’s true players are signed and not revealed it feels as if something is happening behind the scenes. And I know Parker is away but usually every few days we have communication from GA and there has been nothing for ages

 

Been out this evening playing paddle and was in the pub with someone well connected within the club . Jairo Riedewald former Sheff utd defensive midfield has signed . Should be announced Monday at the latest

 

I would be astounded if this is true. He was thought of very highly at Blades. Many of their fans were upset seeing him leave. I would have bet that other championship clubs or even Eredivise clubs would be looking at him. Even with metcalfe money im sure he was on big wages. Happy to be proven wrong mind you.

I think we're all assuming that an announcement is being held back for the fans forum in Monday which I can understand. One in the first half of this week leading into the fixture announcements would have made sense to me. If these players have signed then they've only got limited time to announce them before pre-season starts and they will be on the footage from that.
I can only think one is linked to the away kit launch like Touray was and we are waiting for that to make one of the announcements.

 

I'd be astounded too and hope to be proven wrong as well. Apparently he can play left back as well as defensive midfield. I'm wondering if we've gone down this route as, GA likes utility players, maybe we've binned off the Elder deal, using this one as both wages combined and gone for quality instead of quantity. I suppose we'll find out come Monday if the original post is correct. Put it this way, it's a name out of the blue, that's not been mentioned on social media, so I'm all for it.

That's the thing they didn't but It was literally a 30 second conversation and I didn't ask either which I should have done. They're away this morning for 7 days but I will message them to ask.
