We will have paid more for Beesley than we got for Power

 

Guessing we paid maybe ballpark £400k-£500k for Beesley & Phillips? And probably brought in £800k-£900k after Everton took their cut from the Metcalfe and Power deals from the noise around both deals.

Should still be a few pennies to spend.

To be fair I think I'd rather have McCraken over Young. As bringing in a season long loan either stifles us come January if he does well and gets recalled or puts us back to square one come next summer.

 

I think I agree with that but I think Young is a star in the making and probably better on the budget

Seems like Sheff Weds are building from the back. They signed CB Ricardo Santos from Swansea for a rumoured £400k, Liam Cooper has also signed a new deal today and they are opening talks with Reece Welch (CB linked to us 2 summers back) and Sil Swinkels (left sided CB) is going to be finalised before the weekend too. The same account that has called the Santos, Swinkles and Cooper new contract has also said that Tayo is going back there on a perm deal too. Rebuild seems well and truly on with Bannan about to sign back on.

Same account also saying that York have rejected their 7 figure bid for Josh Stones and he is probably going to sign a new deal at York instead. A winger Lisbie from Colchester has turned them and Huddersfield down too to sign for Reading, all 3 clubs agreed his release clause, lad wants to stay down south.

 

It's all signed. Just hasn't been announced.
