Town will want to recoup most of the reported £3,000,000 they splashed out on Taylor so if Wednesday were put off Bailey because of fee I'm not sure they would want to pay a lot more for Tayor.

 

Sheff fans seem to think they are trying to get Cameron Brannagan, another sitting CM/DM type from Oxford. Fee would be lower than Bailey they think.

 

Absolutely no chance of that I reckon. I'm thinking he probably stays now May has gone and fights it out with Radish and Fletcher

 

Managing the Gibralter U19s currently which is a funny coincidence because at his peak as a player, that was about his level.

Yeah he's always been really well thought of at this level and numbers held up in the champ, seems like a very smart signing for Sheff. They are bringing Bannan back too.

 

Just looking over Macaulay Gillespheys stats for Charlton, very similar to Baldwins on the ball. He averages 4 successful long passes per game with a 36% success rate, averaging per 90 they are pretty identical to each other.

From Powers passing last season, he was dropping deeper and passing mainly from the left channel, Baldwin from the right. Maybe we are looking for different profiles in midfield and will be using Baldwin at RCB, Gillesphey at LCB and will be pinging from the back and having leggy midfielders to get up and support Beesley? Probably a better midfield balance for whoever the two end up being in the middle.

 

Bannon will struggle to last a season at best. I watched him make small cameo roles in the play offs as a sub . The game looked to pass him by.?

 

Is it possible that is because another club have shown they are willing to pay more than Wednasday? Certainly if MKD want someone, they have shown they are not too bothered about the cost.

Surely who our peers are signing is pertinent to us and this forum, bearing in mind what the headline is. If any of us are not interested in posts, we don't dwell on them.

 

The delay in signings is probably due to good players having choices of several clubs and are waiting for better offers.The same with the club who will waiting for players we are interested becoming available or if they are in contract waiting for the club to sign replacements. What is hard to understand we keep hearing about done deals that never get announced
