It will be interesting to see where Alexander sees Phillips. I think he could suit one of the no 10 roles very well, if that is where Alexander sees him then it looks like another ruthless decision as it will likely mean Sarcevic is dropped to back up

 

has consistently scored goals in poor Barnsley Teams, typically as an 8. Hope we play as we did at the start of the season as that will get the best out of him

 

We've already got Jackson there too. Are we looking at a formation change?

 

Will stopping crying make us sign more players?

Anyway, welcome Adam, looks a good signing and this is the level we should be operating on - even if we had to sell Jenson to make it happen!

 

Sarce can only play 1/2 a season or less and this was the main reason stockport let him go.. Philips to start and Sarce benched..

I think most people thought this but Nathan confirming

 

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but he played 38 league games last season, featured in both playoff semi finals and ended up top scorer.
That said, I do think Phillips has been brought in as his eventual successor and if he does well, that will inevitably lead to fewer opportunities for Sarc. The question is will Sarc want to stick around and fight for his place or might he be tempted to move on if interest comes in for him?
