    Thanks for the heads up @Bradford End@Bradford End , @Bronco@Bronco and the others who posted hinting at something like this. I can’t believe that so many get upset at “rumours” and things not happening when they want them to.
    Anyway, a keeper and another m/f to come. (Hopefully).

    It's a great signing but we need a few more midfielders at least. Hopefully it can attract other players as we have made two statement signings so far.

    Looking at that I would say we are 6/7 players short of a decent squad and that's before anyone else leaves.

    According to a Barnsley fan on their forum, Phillips' dad apparently said the delay with the official announcement was due to an error at the Barnsley end?

    I said yesterday its not as simple as us just announcing it. I said we have a courtesy to the player and the selling club to allign the announcement.

    It’s just saying something is going to happen and naming the day……then nothing.
    We were told that it was two players and the away kit!
    To be totally clear, I am not bothered about the actual date, although I would hope that City had completed the majority of its transfer business before the players return to training

    My Barnsley supporting colleague said he fully expected him to go due to him constantly sulking and contributing to a toxic dressing room last season. He did say though that he expected a bottom end Champ side to go for him so that’s a positive. Also said hes good for 10 goals a season which l we missed massively from our midfield last campaign.
