Of all the players who've left recently (last couple of seasons) Brad is the one I was most sad about.

Cooky, for his goals. But as a person and a player you'd always want to have around and for his work ethic Brad was a top pro and will always be given a warm reception by me.

 

Me too. Watched the podcast, he is a genuine person. He puts his heart and soul into playing for us. No sentiment in football we can’t just keep him here and not play him.

To me it shows how ruthless GA was in the early days. He clearly clocked Harry as one of the players, along with others of having no chance of giving what he needed to get out of this division.

And whilst I like Harry, comes across as a great guy, GA was 100% correct.

It's also why GA wouldn't play Pointon at this time. He clearly thought the culture at the club wasn't correct.

 

Agreed. I do think we fans take it for granted that it's easy to uproot your family every 1 to 2 years, after all you're playing footie!!

Ollie Norburn is another, who was instrumental in Notts County's promotion but told them he needed to be nearer home, now he's in his late career. He lives next door to one of my customers in Bolton and has gone to Oldham.

A lot of speculation among BBC employees after the latest round of cuts and redundancies were announced is that local BBC radio coverage could be restricted to home games only. So if City are playing Leicester City away next season,instead of Jamie Raynor you’ll be hearing the home commentary from Radio Leicester. That will be fun listening to an ecstatic home commentary when City concede a goal. Still waiting to hear if City have renewed their one year deal with radio Leeds.

 

That’s tremendous - the only thing I use bbc for (and pay a fortune every year for) and they’re going to pull it / reduce the service

 

To be fair sometimes I’m not sure which team has scored when Jamie Raynor is commentating.

To be honest I lost interest after about 15 minutes.

Oddly, I said earlier, I got a bit bored after a while . But I understand why others would really enjoy it.

 

I had to chuckle....I think you posted that literally at the same time I posted that I quite enjoyed it!!

I had to laugh when he was telling the story of him hobbling onto the pitch to celebrate the Fleetwood game then being taken out by a sliding fan!! And when he was on the table with a beer in hand and another table collapsed!!

 

Just watched this one with Cooky, a decent watch
