Now this is out of the blue but literally just been told by a Burnley fan they watched Metcalfe a couple of times last season notably against Cardiff at home and were interested in him before Parker got sacked however now parker is no longer manager he isn't sure if the interest is still there.

 

Another 2 years left on Metcalfes contract isnt there. Surely be a big whack for anyone coming and buying a promising 21 year old midfielder who had a great season in League 1.

I think "sell on" clauses should be scrapped if signing from an higher league (IE player moving down)
