You could look out for the lady who pulls a tyre.
IMG_1946.jpeg I can’t guarantee that she’ll be about on the particular day that you are there though.

You can walk up to Hebden Bridge along the river. Takes about half an hour and is quite pleasant.

The County Bridge cafe, on the bridge funnily enough, is pretty decent. Had a massive slice of fruit cake there a couple of years ago.

It's a bit limited compared to Hebden and Todmorden.

    No Greggs.

There’s a Sainsbury’s local just past the Dusty Miller pub.

I concur on @Hulmebantam@Hulmebantam suggestion of the cafe just over the bridge.

Very popular but a bit small

Stuck it in the back of your work van, held secure with twine to save on the delivery fee?

Just need to be in a small square in a Greek village, the sound of crickets, a lizard absorbing the last heat on a nearby wall...

I am actually in the USA at the moment. Price of a pint is fairly astronomical! Works out at $9 for a USA pint (16 Fl rather than our Imperial 20FL) With local tax @ 8.75% + the voluntary compulsory 20% tip it comes out at just under £11 a pint!!
Predominantly Russian River, Cellar Maker or Original Pattern beers.
A lot are fairly strong at 6.5-7.5%
I haven’t had a pint of Brown Ale for years!! It use to be Newcastle Brown Ale, which I always found too sweet
What are your tasting notes on it?
Fluctuating between watching paint dry and the Netherlands V Japan match.
It is just after 2.00pm here.
