    Does anyone else think it’s time to lose the star above the badge on the shirts. Bit embarrassing having it on there for an facup win in 1911 . I’ve been watching city for 46 years and can’t recall off the top of my head when we first started doing it ( maybe someone on here knows ) but never had it on the kits before , think it’s time take it off .

    And ours is certainly not the oldest one celebrated by a club. For example, Bury have two stars to commemorate their FA Cup wins in 1900 and 1903.

    It is history, It happened, probably our greatest achievement ever!
    Unless the EFL & Premier league said ‘all’ clubs should remove it, then NO.
    A lot of people moan about where the club currently sits in the football ladder. The teams from 1908-1920 were functioning at the pinnacle of English Football.
    The 1911, team did remarkably well.
    Respect for their achievements is reasonable.
    History is what it is. I notice your user name takes a bow to a historical person. I don’t feel embarrassed about them.

    What was perhaps more interesting was the absence of both Power and Metcalfe. Our captain plus one of the players of the season not included. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

    Was something my lad had seen on insta with a load of boxes piled up which looked to have kits in them. I was guessing they're away kits and why we hadn't announced Phillips yet. Probably 2+2 =5
