Jordan Gibson has signed for Crewe, his agent has done amazingly well, sorted out a 3 year deal plus an option for a further 12 months. Suspect if we draw them in any of the cups he'll probably score against us.

It may take us a little time to replace Power as we may now be looking at different options in midfield to those we were before. That said, for any midfielder it is a big opportunity to come in and play a load of games, have a big impact, maybe be captain. It is very attractive.

They are you are right , their issue only becomes evident the longer they stay out of the CC and player sales from their CC and Prem days dry up. Obviously they can’t sustain their level of spending on players if they have to shell out £55m for their new stadium . It was said their parachute payment remaining would pay for the stadium, so by my reckoning they still need to use £15m of player sales to fund the stadium in its entirety?

One of the rumour pages on X has linked us with Grimsby captain Kieran Green. 28 years old, 14 goals and 8 assists last season. I'd say this would be a good Power replacement, the only question is, he hasn't played league one football before, plus his contract is until 2027 and Transfermaket values him at £350k currently. But hey ho a rumour after a few days of not very much.
