The transfer window hasn't opened yet and the season finished just over 2 weeks ago, players are still on holiday. Im so glad my kids were never taught by you, they really wouldn't be where they are today if they were

I see Stockport have signed Ryan Glover. A late bloomer but a good signing for them I feel.

 

Their recent record for buying wingers is nothing to shout about. £1m for Mothersille…Tyreik Wright is twice the player down the left side.

Don't know a lot about him, could be a shrewd signing.

 

The kid is 22 and had a very good time at Peterborough. I’m sure he will come good.
I’m also sure Plymouth fans have a very different opinion of Wright than us.

 

If the glove fits... He looks a very hard working player, very much so in the GA mould, he would have been a good successor to Sarce, seen a lot of comments from Notts fans saying he ripped them apart last season. I wonder how much Stockport paid for him.

DMac persuaded County that Mothersville was the best player in L1&2 so he convinced Stott to part with £1m spread over three seasons rather than £500,000 . It’s all relative….. all young player signings are a speculative gamble . County fans want rid of him for zero, zilch, nothing to get him off the wage bill . Why did Challenor sideline him from the main starting 11? Lazy apparantly . DMac is laughing his gonads off. Since when do club owners conduct due dilligence on player recruitment and valuations?

He may do well under a new manager , but as many keep repeating on here Challenor isn’t a mug. but let’s not overblow players just because they “cost a lot” . Wright cost next to nothing .
