You mean like when we signed a replacement for Cook before letting him go? Then we got Wheatley…….

 

Yes, exactly the same. Only difference is Cook wasn’t going to get game time, Power was .

 

Yet those itk on you tube repeat it! I just honestly wish they would use a modicum of common sense ?

 

He plays above league 1 level and i will be decked

 

So now the club are finally admitting that the Jan window was poor. Who brought these players in coz it sure as hell wasn’t GA. I bet he had zero involvement.

 

The problem is that he often loses the ball. If he works on protecting the ball, he could possibly step up a level

 

There will be 3 coming in i reckon, 2 first teamers and maybe one to replace Evans, probably a youth loan. We needed one challenging CM for Power and Metcalfe before he left, need at least 2 of starting quality now.

 

Its no secret that Jake Beesley was the number 1 target to replace Cooky and I think Ryan Graydon was mentioned too. No idea whether they missed out on targets for other positions before bringing in the likes of Lee Evans though

 

41 appearances for Cardiff last season suggests he's decent.

 

He would be a good signing, but reckon he will end up at a club with a bigger budget than ours unfortunately

 

8 hour drive to training and back might scupper the deal…….

 

I would hope we have a deal done for his replacement.

 

Yeah I can't see Wintle coming in with the wages he was on. Would be a good player to bring in but I can't see it happening.

 

I presume GA is on his Holidays at the moment which is why we have had no comment from the club. But it will be interesting to hear his comments on the situation

 

Depends what the ambition is for the club. We punched above our weight last season and with momentum from promotion we got off to a flying start. To reach those same heights again and to achieve promotion we may need to pay those kind of wages.
