Caught up with MasterChef from last night.
Made us rather nostalgic as we've had three holidays there, and a long standing friend of forty years has moved back there after 51 years here.

I’m sticking with it as it’s only 6 episodes but the acting of the 2 working together is so wooden it’s untrue.
The guy on his own is just about keeping it watchable but I’ll be glad when it’s done.

I'm enjoying it but I know what you mean. The Liverpool storyline took a while to develop. Hopefully I'll watch the last 2 episodes tomorrow

 

There's a lot more to it than sea and beaches. We've been lucky that my mate Arnie is the middle one of seven each of them all moved away for education and jobs, but all retired there or at least finished their careers at home. They took us places we'd never of found lol. Food is brilliant, but shall we say more "rustic" than refined. Didn't meet Sir Viv, but Andy Roberts is a family friend.

 

no I don’t think we went in there, will have to check the name of one of the ones that was a further walk. They got some patches and a bad religion cd for a fiver. Save that for another trip and see where it is.

the gig was superb we both had a great time. three stage dives too and i survived to tell the tale good support bands too especially first one test of patience. Young uns can’t half tear it up. We were right next to Walter on guitar so we got a good view of the mayhem when i wasn’t actually in there myself.
