Summer 26 Transfer Rumours

Informative, cheers. Sounds impressive on paper, but as we've seen, that doesn't automatically transfer into the club. Barnsley have a consortium with a billionaire, and they are supposedly set to cut their budget, and I don't believe it was that high this year. Hillsborough, let's be honest, needs work done to it. Part of the stadium already needs work done to it, and I would imagine it won't be long before more is needed. With just 2 wins last season, the same amount of victories we gained over championship clubs, they need an entirely new squad just to be competitive. The likes of Sunderland and Luton have come down with parachute payments and not gone straight back up, let alone from that sort of position. It's good to have some footballing experience, but had they got Edin Rahic in, they'd technically also be getting someone with experience. We will have to see with them, but I'll happily wager they won't trouble the top 6 this season, and that's before them signing a player.

Obviously Johnston demands where to high for us. It’s a pity but there is plenty out there

Don't mind that for 1 season (before the event, I worried about signing a 35 year old who led us to Wembley twice in 1 season) as long as we sign another decent midfielder.

If he were to sign, you would imagine a favourite to be our new captain.

He captained Ipswich to the Premiership a couple of years ago.

 

Bradford City must be in Sunderlands good books as Purdhoe sounded happy the way Pickford was treated at Valley Parade.

 

Would be a good replacement could be a load of rubbish though

 

Im very confident that Morsy and Young will be unveiled very soon. I heard Morsy was approached at xmas but he wanted to prove he was still champ quality after his time abroad.
