All this stuff about Power is unnecessary imho, it’s a fact of footballing life . I hate whataboutism but here’s some City fans should compare our “ plight” .

Stockport , just lost for whatever reason their most successful manager in their history, lost their most successful DoF in their history, the owner is said to be retreating on funding their ANNUAL £10m losses , the squad budget is being slashed as a result . Additionally they like all of us have to cope with harsher financial EFL rules .They are stuck with more or less the same highly paid squad with only half of the attendances we see , yet only capable of releasing three players at least one fans wanted to really keep ( OB)Their fans are in for a real shock in comparison to BCAFC supporters?

Another new name mentioned on another forum, Isaac Hutchinson. He's a 26 year old central midfielder, more the box to box type. He had a falling out at Bristol Rovers last year and in August he went on loan to Cheltenham and scored 15 goals with 3 assists from midfield in 34 games.

Bristol confirmed that they have had two bids from L1 sides for Hutchinson and Kamil Conteh (DM, Ex-boro who were were linked to when he was at Grimsby) and they were both short of their valuations.

 

The Cheltenham loanee we signed is working out ok so why not.

 

Hutchinson's family were subject to abuse from fans after he had a poor start to his career at the Gas. He subsequently went to Cheltenham on loan where he was an instant success.

Since the season ended Hutchinson has told Steve Evans he wants to play at a higher level now. It would seem Evans his happy to grant his wish provided they get an agreeable fee for him.

Maybe we can dangle Tommy Leigh to Steve Evans as part of a deal for Hutchinson, if indeed we are one of the clubs interested?

Where's this Hutchinson name come from? Couldn't get a game at Bristol Rovers with Smallwood and Leigh helping them to great second half of the season? Stats point to a league 2 player.

 

Worth a go, "IF" we are one of them. Someone on Twitter has responded to their journo mentioned he's heard we are after Hutchinson. Bit of talk between the two on the thread, looking at the Rovers forum apparently Conteh has a terrible attitude and they are resigned to not getting much of the £300k they spent on him back.
