I know we have a good basis of a good team in which we should be building on.

 

We need a new spine I fear. New GK, a stand out centre back, a Max Power replacement and a decent goal scoring striker.

Stott has been listening to his property developer mate in DMac . Have you watched their video? It’s a love fest between two sweary men. Made me want to vomit . He saw they got Mothersville on the cheap sold him to County for a trouser pulling down £ 1m . The two football men at County want nothing to do with this new “plan” so away they go. No wonder their fans are unhappy?

Plus he lives in Liverpool so with a young family it would be ideal for him location wise.

 

I stopped listening to the DMac podcast with the City fan that used to pop up every now and again because of too much swearing. Poor really.

 

When we play without a striker and have to spread goals around the team, a fixture in the team who doesn’t contribute goals or assists is most definitely part of the problem

He’s absolutely an asset defensively but it can be denied we sacrifice attacking attributes with him being a permanent fixture

Will be a shame to lose him, but as others have said, not irreplaceable

 

I can name you another 4 or 5 at least in all those sides that were also "leaders".

That 85 team with Jackson was absolutely packed with them.

 

Odin Bailey got 4 goals and 3 assists as an attacking midfielder and Wintle got one goal and 7 assists. Max Power got 6 assists.

So Wigan have made an approach for Power according to the Tand A
He might want to go for the two year contract
But I would not let him, until a very good replacement was in the door ,if that guy can also bag a few goals, then all’s well

 

It would be interesting to know how long 'a while' is in this context. Are we talking a while as in the couple of weeks since our play off semi final exit, or longer than that? In a funny sort of way I'd actually prefer it if it was before then and he'd already made his mind up prior to knowing what league we were going to be in next season rather than him jumping ship because we failed to go up.
