Summer 26 Transfer Rumours

Fairly certain I saw earlier that he was in talks with Lincoln

 

Rumour is, both are Blackpool bound to join a former manager.

 

Cal Roberts was a name linked with us a couple of years ago after a good spell in non-league. He joined Scunny and scored 40 with 21 assists from 89 games in the last two seasons from a right wing/right attack mid spot. He's turned down his Scunthorpe deal and signed for a L1 club.

Wondered if it we could be back there but it's come out tonight that he is joining Notts County again. He went there after his initial good spell in NL.

But

But Park it’s the club that goes on about it every day during the summer and winter windows. If it’s not GA, it’s Sharpe or Sparks. The only person who talks with ambition is Rupp and that’s clearly rubbish (training ground, ground etc) we can only respond to what they put. I am convinced we will have 20 articles with us crying the poor tale before the middle of the window.

 

Or , let’s tell everyone looking for a new club or looking to sell an asset we are absolutely rolling in it

I’m not “not understanding” anything. I was simply responding to state that some people were within their rights to be satisfied at his signing due to him being a proven goalscorer. (The level of which was not in the equation).

Promotion winner. Loves defending and celebrates a tackle. Fans would love him. He'd love the big crowds.

Agree , however affordability ? I’m sure I read he was on £12k a week or more . He’d be a great signing for sure .

 

I suppose Bolton will be looking for even better quality now they are in Championship and presume they dont think he will make the grade at that level.

I would be happy to see him signed up here. He was very good at Wembley keeping the dangerous Louie Barry very quiet.

 

I would take Johnston and Osei-Tutu for sure

 

Tutu (or someone similar) means we could drop to a back 4 if needed and comfortably have a proper RB, I think it's obvious Neufville is a winger playing defence rather than a full back who can go forward.

Johnston at LCB is an upgrade on Tilt and Kelly in my eyes. Guessing he is Blackpool bound though to join up with their old boss.
