Palmer a class act at this level. It would be brilliant if we could attract a loanee as good

Depends on Powells wage for me. If it benefits the club and is a pay as you play or an average wage then might be worth keeping around as an option. I wouldnt be paying him 4-5k a week.

Some Hull fans think he is on a very decent whack. Can see a Championship team grabbing him if Luton cant convince.

    Played on deck, nice football.
Offload the only fella who could head a ball.
Play down wings and balls into box.

    Make it make sense....!

Ryan hedges All day long. I was hoping we would go for him in Jan but he started to get game time at black burn. We need someone to rotate and cover/ challenge Sarc. He can also cover left back. Great player

A fair few names already floated about.

Would love Jamie Allen but I cant see him coming to L1. Cant see us now being interested in Jack Hunt after having him on trial for so long a year back and never offering him a deal.

Would love Ben Osborn but I reckon he signs on at Stockport once his loan is done. Hedges would be top here too.

Ben Osborn please, although I reckon Stockport will sign him on a permanent.

Double swoop on GA's boyhood club Coventry for Jamie Allen and Brad Collins also please. Probably have a decent chance for Collins but Allen will probably stay in Championship?

The Championship has a slightly higher number of Senior outfield players allowed in their squads at 25.
However, how many of these Championship players, will get a contract, with Premiership players dropping down, and some foreign players signing?
How many will be happy to be squad players, lucky to get any game time?
So some may decide that playing regularly with the bonuses that attracts, is a better option than slowly festering away, without much game time.

In the T&A toady, GA has confirmed that City have been given the green light to start approaching targets. Yesterday there was a meeting between GA, Sparks, Sharpe and Gent to line out the summer plans, budgets, targets etc. He's said the club have yet to reach out to any players for a move.

It seems odd, we have not spoken to anyone yet, surely we had two lists with a mind on what division we might be in and some on each list able to play at either level
I thought you could approach agents of players out of contract a month before the season ends, which means we could be six weeks behind some clubs, if this is the case.

I would imagine agents have been approached to sound out whether their players are interested. Actually getting around to speaking with players direct would always happen after the current season ends. So for me, no problem and we will not be 6 weeks behind everyone else

Well TBF they said players, didn't say agents! Which I imagine they talk to all year around.

If agents have been approached, then we have spoken to someone, but to state we have spoken to no one
I don't know why, but i always get the feeling Bradford city are reactive rather than proactive and the January window did nothing to appease these thoughts
If they have not spoken to anyone, what exactly are Sharpe and Gent doing between transfer windows?

GA said we haven't spoken to any player yet..... doesn't mean we haven't been speaking to their agents. Lets face it, most players will only be going on their holidays either now or next week for a few weeks and probably wont start speaking to clubs for a good 2 or 3 weeks yet anyway. Right now it's agent season, where names get fed into the media to spread speculation and it starts from meetings like yesterday.

Brad Collins has been linked for a few weeks, my guess is we have reached out to his agent once his contract wasnt extended and either we were first or some other club was, the agent waits a day and then asks someone on socal media (Peter O does a shit load of these per summer) to tweet out "Brad Collins has interest from Bradford, Burton & Blackpool" (as an example) to spread out the word that their player is available and try make others throw a bit more cash his way. That's 80/90% of will see probably until early June ish when deals start being completed. No worries at all that we haven't had a face to face sit down yet, GA needs a holiday too!
