I’m not saying that’s what GA will do, but it’s what I’d like him to do.
I think the combination of Touray and Tyreik gives us more defensive mobility against Cozier Duberry and better attacking capability down the left side to link with whoever plays in the left forward position, be that Sarce, Bobby or Humphs. I’m not sure that we particularly need Tilt’s muscle against the Bolton front line.

 

It’s being suggested they will play their big forrad Dolby instead of the lad they took off on Sat, Burstow.?

That's why I said we had to hurt them when we had the ball and have the chance to counter. At the start of the season we were able to soak up pressure then hit teams on the break and we have to hope we can repeat that tonight. I'm not saying aim for the game to be 0-0 at 75 minutes just that it isn't the worst thing in the world. Bolton wouldn't have the goal they wanted and might be considering shutting up shop etc. Hopefully we're 3-0 up at HT but it seems unlikely. The fact that they score so late in games could still bite us if we were 2-0 up after 20 minutes. In my opinion it's absolutely essential they don't take the lead as then we would have to just throw caution to the wind and they have the players to hurt us on the counter.

 

Good luck tonight rooting for you all. I really don't want to play Bolton at Wembley despite them not beating my club in a league fixture since 1998. Given our abysmal Wembley record I just know it's the one game they'll go & beat us & they'll be absolutely insufferable. Also overloads the already very limited trains due to the crap early kick off. If you manage to get there you'll probably beat us as well as we've only won once in 7 visits, I hate the place in all honesty, rather it was played in some big Northern ground than that hole It's always crap losing at Wembley but I could just about handle losing to you lot, don't begrudge your team anything at all, Losing to Bolton would piss me off all summer So come on Bantams give 'em hell tonight

 

Good odds that. I dont see us keeping a clean sheet, so think we need to score 2 regardless. Sarce will be absolutely key for us.

 

If that was the line up, Swan would drop out for me. With Humphrys and Powell on the bench that's enough options for the one centre forward slot.

 

We need to hold our nerve. I think there is too much made of their one nil lead. Since when have City worried about a team going in front? We dig deep and hit back.

Whatever happens tonight, we have had an incredible season. For what it is worth I feel positive about tonight. The crowd is the 12th man, and the players have said that over and over again. It will be a sell out crowd and do not underestimate how much that means to the players.

We have had to fight our way to playoffs and stay there, we will not go down without a fight.

I imagine it will be “give us 60 of your best minutes” to Tyriek Wright, with the option of Humphrys, Lapslie or even Pointon as the replacement. I could see Swan missing out only due to lack of versatility - I guess it comes down to how much will we need to press them in the aggressive manor Swan provides.

 

Tonight needs to be chaos and intensity. Rip roaring start, crowd engaged from the off. Turn their defence early on. If it's a 'football match' then they have that bit more quality. We need rock n roll football, it's when we're at our best
