I've read comments from Bolton fans saying until recently he's been poor but the game against Bradford City was his best this season, although he's obviously got ability I thought Alexanders tactics of doubling up on him worked pretty well Saturday night.

Seen plenty of comments from their fans too saying Cissoko only ever seems to play well against us. Hopefully on the narrower pitch Thursday and maybe a tweak to get Tyreik starting, we have pace and problems of our own.

Will they though. Palmer won't be at Luton. Plymouth likely to lose their front two

I thought he did OK. He always had 2 men on him, just no Bolton man made a run to try find the space

He seemed more bothered about keeping his wig in place.

I think with Bolton's wingers, their system really helps them look good. They are allowed to hug the touchline and try and beat players as well as making late runs into the box.

True. The attacker to defender rule is becoming as ridiculous as the protection goalkeepers get. Tilt is a master of it, Joe Wright also, Jack Shepherd last season - one touch and down. Strikers like Shearer would have no chance in today’s game. Of course I don’t begrudge when it goes our way but can acknowledge it’s become really daft.

If the incident is reversed I’m confident Jackson is getting penalized for a foul on the defender.

I think there will be a lot of that on Thurs. If anyone watched Hull Millwall last night, i can see Bolton shaping up similar to Hull in that they sat back back 5/10 yards and tried letting Millwall have the ball once Hull scored and Millwall needed to press on, but Millwall aren't a great team with time on the ball and they want to play faster and counter play which they couldn't do. Millwall didn't manage a shot for over 40 minutes last night whilst having most of the ball in that spell because Hull completely nullified them going forward and then when there was contact, the Hull lads were making sure they got the fouls to stop the game.

Absolutely , I posted at half time that City’s doubling up was working really well. ( Until it went wrong for their goal. ) Now that GA has implemented a method I HOPE both have less impact at a narrower VP than at their place.?

I’ve read their forum and indicating it might be the last time he plays at the Toughshite stadium and somebody saying you shouldn’t fall in love with loan players. So guess he is returning to Brighton his parent club to try get a game, or, another loan out. But yes, I’ve read he was terrible at Blackburn (I didn’t know he was there, but then again, I didn’t follow the Champ).

It was noticeable on TV how wide there pitch looked compared to ours. OCD just sat out and waited for the ball without anybody noticing him at times. He won’t be able to do that on our pitch (although he still will be a danger) remember him cutting in at the kop and snacking the crossbar with a shot.

Probably the biggest name in world football stories is touting his name about. He is certainly going to have some money thrown his way in the coming weeks.

Born in Islington and only 20. If he chooses his career path carefully, what a future he has.

Made me laugh , Hudds forum …. They should offer Bolton a few £’s . Someone then pointed out he’s contracted to Brighton. …..The gift that keeps on giving . ;)

Hudders are bigger than Bolton. The attendance averages confirm that.

He is under contract at Brighton till 2028 so not sure why they would be looking to extend yet, and even if they are if he doesn't accept he still can not leave
