I think 21k be about it. Thursday night on TV - be a hard sell for some parents and those that have to travel a distance for it.

    Plus its a cup game...

I think everyone I've spoken to IRL had absolutely no idea you could buy a home ticket in the MR lol

Generally people have told me the whole stand has been given to Bolton.

Old news I'm sure, but what is the meaning of this statement?

I'm sure many of us have purchased multiple tickets for friends and family, the easiest way for us to gain entry would be to screenshot each QR/ticket and send it to each individual's phone so we're not mucking about with one phone and swiping over and over when there's literally no room for more than one person at any one time at the turnstile.

That's what I intend to do, but obviously that is "duplicating" each ticket.

Seems like the sort of rule that would be devised by someone who didn't understand eticketing, as they've literally got scanners to make sure the same QR code CANNOT be used twice?

I've been to gigs and done that swiping nonsense, but there's always room for the 3/4 of you to stand side by side and be counted. And yes, I've scanned the same QR twice by mistake when the swipe didn't work, it hardly needs a threat attached to it lol

Was it written by a 90 year old?

All tickets that have been released have been sold. They usually release them ones under the advertising banners if everything else is sold out

Isn't there a way of electronically sharing the ticket? When they send out the season tickets I get all the tickets and then I forward a link to each person and they put them in their wallet. Doesn't the single match ticket work the same?

I don't know as we went old school and my dad went to the ticket office so we got paper ones

At 23.45 there were 330 blue dots left, between the two stands. Not sure if they haven’t released two blocks in the lower Bradford End/TL Dallas and Block A has been held back, which has about 440.
So quite a lot of seats left until the club considers removing the covers from some of the rows at the bottom of the Kop.

I can see why the security people are wary of releasing the covered seats , usually deemed “a risk” and such an easily accessible away following ?

After the pitch invasion last year and the proximity of the away fans, i don’t think those front three will be released and their is a bigger segregation than normal in the MR approx 1200 seats as opposed to the 300 in the half block
A in the main will go on sale if the rest in MR and the TL Dallas go

That is how I see it. Given the restrictions and subsequent limitations, it will be a lower ‘gate’ than the match against Fleetwood. The seating arrangements and then the fact that this is a midweek 8.00pm will suppress the ‘attendance’. A shame but there you go.

Handbags after the game on Saturday as well, will see West Yorkshire police want it to stay that way as well
As you say , it’s a shame that more fans of each team couldn’t attend both matches

22100 approx is the max if we sell all available tickets, probably 12 to 1300 still available

There appears to be 2 blocks lower Bradford End not put on sale and the A block in the main stand.

Beyond that there segregation in Midland Road is likely to be far more than normal reducing capacity signficantly. if there are 7 blocks in Midland Road and about 4,500 seats. Then about 1,300 have been allocated to Bradford and about 2,200 to Bolton which meants about 1,000 seats are used in segregation, be it the front of block A, the whole or most of Block E and even the first few rows to prevent getting on the pitch.

23k is my guess for Thursday.

The situation on Saturday again would easily have been stopped by keeping us City fans back for 10 minutes, they saw what happened previously when fans are exiting together, Saturday was even worse because Bolton fans were exciting the bottom teir the same time City fans in the top teir were exiting, it wasn't rocket science it could have been avoided.

They kept us back at Wigan and half of the stand was almost in tears about it. We had dickheads scrapping with police, throwing pints at them…the list goes on.

The police can’t win. Whatever they do, it’s wrong.

Not sure why you think I'm blaming the police I never mentioned them I my original post.

Even more reason why the away support should be held back, in this day and age it shouldn't happen, but Saturday was the highth of stupidity by Bolton.
If they'd have keep us back the police wouldnt have need to be there in those sort of numbers, at one time I wouldn't have bat an eyelid to the antics but the police on horses weren't taking prisoners and at 78 years old I must admit I felt very vulnerable.

Apologies, I wasn’t inferring that you were blaming the police, more saying that there’s no easy solution to it all. Would be good if people could just enjoy the match without the aggression.

The issue you have is people needed to get trains and such as there was like only one to get back.

Even if Bradford fans were held back for 10 min there were Bolton fans who were clearly look to hang around anyhow, those who want to cause trouble will cause trouble.

Common sense mate, but very short in supply
Fans from both sides in the same stand exiting at the same time
    Asking for trouble
Hopefully better organised on Thursday or Midland road could be a bit tricky
