Let’s not it take away from the brilliant Prem League type finish . The debate about Walker starts Friday! :(

I see City have put the lower blocks of the Bradford End/TL Dallas on sale.
A solitary seat in the Main Stand left.
I am a little surprised that there are around 350 tickets still available in the Midland Road. From comments on here, I have been reminded that the MR apparently offers the best views, with the best leg room. I struggle to understand how it can be so different in F&G as compared to A&B?
There are about 450 in Block A the Main Stand held back.
Still VP will ‘pro rata’ have a fuller stadium than the Trotters had, despite the game being on a weekend!

That goes in its game over. I think we did well to steady the ship after that 5/10 minutes.

Doesnt work but we sit 4th when nobody expected it ?????
How does that work we are a club that got out of League 2 by the skin of its teeth after year upon year of crap give them some credit ffs .............and you do know the other 5 teams that contested the other 6 places have either got money behind them or have had years to prepare for this ........... its not great its not amazing but its been good enough to get us 4th with some decent performances thrown in along the way.

Should the worse happen and we do fail will i be gutted ???? Course i will but at least i can walk off into the night knowing that the club is likeable again and the clubs future is a lot brighter than what it was little over 2 years ago when the attmosphere was either toxic or the fanbase had simply given up going .

Aye home advantage has nothing to do with it of course. Absolutely not a factor despite our home form vs our away form.

I think there is no debate to have
He has done ok, but an upgrade needed
If Walker was second choice, that’s a different kettle of fish

Not a pen for me. Jackson had the chance to put his laces through the ball and should have done so. The one that puzzled me was first half. Thought we should have had a free kick in a good position and a booking given for a foul on Jackson.

It was. I remember after our horror show in the 1st leg, seeing Big Sams post match interview and feeling really confident we could turn that around. His comments were basically saying "job done and all we need to do is keep it tight in the 2nd leg". 30 years on and one of the most memorable nights!

Our season tickets are in Block A of the Midland Road but we opted for the upper main stand opposite where we sit. We considered moving along to F or G block but decided against it for several reasons. At the time seats went on sale, the lower TL Dallas and A block of the main stand weren't open. We figured the atmosphere would be better nearer the kop. Psychologically it still felt like the away end with parts of the ground in that area empty. We also wondered if we might have a long walk round to where we are picked up after the game to keep us away from Bolton fans.
You are right about the leg room and I am very happy with my view from the back of A block, but wouldn't pick F or G block if given the option.

Touray was on Duberry’s back the whole match except for that one time. His other chance came from a bad mistake from Tilt

One of my biggest regrets following City. Friends and I had tickets for the away leg leg at Blackpool. Following the awful home performance, we decided not to go through the hassle of rushing over after work for what we thought was an impossible task.

It just goes to show, play offs are so unpredictable and absolutely anything can happen on the night.

Was it Sheffield Wed who once overcame a 4 goal deficit against Posh?

They did. Its why I dont get some of the comments suggesting that last night's result was bad. Yes of course it would have been preferable to avoid defeat but it also could have been much much worse.
The tie is in the balance, and if we pull it off on Thursday, it will go alongside Blackpool, Villa and Arsenal as one of the most memorable nights in our history.
    Bring it on!

    Regardless..

    A) we are 1-0 down so it is advantage Bolton
    B) we havent scored 2 at home in our last 7 home games

We have a chance, its all to play but it is now more difficult than at 8pm last night. And for you to argue otherwise is ludicrous.

    Burton away in 2012/13.

As an aside, that year Yeovil beat Brentford in the L1 final. How things change in football.

A single goal victory would have been Boltons absolute minimum target last night which they achieved. Conversely a 1 goal defeat was our absolute worst case scenario target which is what happened. Tie is in the balance and 1st goal on Thursday is crucial imo.

People keep banging on about Boltons away form being poor.. the problem is, to take advantage of a teams poor form, You have to score goals.. something we are incapable of doing, the 30 chances vs peterborough and only 2 goals to show for it is a prime example.. then again, if we create 30
Chances vs Bolton on Thu and put 2 away without conceding i’ll take that!!

Unfortunately i just cant see it.. if the same team that started yesterday starts on Thu then we have no chance.. give pointon his injection, start wright give powell his start and maybe start with Humps..
