15 home wins and Bolton’s poor away form 1-0 in two legged matches is nothing

Do you mean Burnden? Bolton left there in 1997.

I totally get where you're coming from and I see a scenario where we fall agonisingly just short as a real possibility.
On the flip side though is that we are talking really fine margins here. They have more quality than us but what last night has done is it's given us a real opportunity to capitalise on the marginal advantage of having the 2nd leg at home. The danger was always that we could be out of it last night-we are not.
They are still favourites and if they take the lead on Thursday, we have a mountain to climb. If we score first its game on!

Not a lot in comparison , time for a bit of honesty ? Comparing 2 kids and two old stagers to what they have and where they are hired from isn’t a difficult excercise . Some of theirs will be on £15, 000 a week minimum is my guess ?

We only need one goal as it stands and then win on penalties :)

Give over it's only Half Time mate
Had we been 2 or 3 down I would have agreed with you
Whoever scores first on Thursday goes through to the final
Their defence and in particular the keeper weren't all that last night get at them from the start and it's game on
    Keep the faith buddy

If this was a 1 legged cup tie at home and we conceded in the first minute would we all go home and say it was over….of course not!
We have 90 mins to score 1 goal at home, that’s the minimum and it’s certainly possible.
Bolton won’t fancy their chances of coming here and keeping a clean sheet for sure. 1-0 is a dodgy lead and they’ll be nervous.
Get behind the lads on Thursday.

I like this new system of substituting a ref when he's been crap.

The odds have drifted slightly from around 7/5 to 2/1 but I don't think that's enough of a shift to call my claim 'absolute nonsense'. I'll always take the bookies judgement on these matters.

Use your imagination. Look at their parent clubs . As I said earlier some are cost comparing two kids from Newcastle to a Brighton prayer who has played for England at U16-20, Cissoko for the Dutch U 21 ‘s . Let’s get realistic . There’s another four quality loanees to add .

Sam Walkers positioning for their goal by the way was so poor. Gives Duberry the whole left side to aim at.
The sooner we get a new first choice keeper the better.
I hope the Brad Collins rumours online are true.

Oh absolutely. Just because I'm preparing myself for disappointment doesn't mean I'm not hoping to be proved massively wrong.

Harsh. You see goals like that all the time. If he'd shifted over he'd have driven it hard and low near post and we'd be saying he's too far over. Maybe I need another look but I feel like every time we concede it's automatically Walker's fault.

Said that to my boy watching the replays. He did exactly the same when he hit the post. Glued to his left hand side giving far too much space to aim at.

It was 0-0 before last nights tie. Its now 1-0. Same chance would be 0-0. You are talking nonsense.

Is the Lapslie experiment done? I feel like we cant play him and Sarce in the same 11 with our long ball tactic. We soak up pressure and when it's time to break we need pace and neither really have it. Feels like it should be one or the other and they need Jackson or Wright as the other pacey outlet.
