They had loads of possesion which they always do but its not as if they where tearing us to bits or Walker was making save after save ..............there goal came from us wasting a chance to put a decent ball into the box and there other chance was down to a Tilt mistake and apart from that i recall very little

 

And 20 mins they were reeling annd playing thenm off the park after scoring ?
To think they wouldn’t attack us when at home in the first leg is misguided in originality surely ?

Its not often City fans seem happy enough with a defeat but it seems that way tonight.

i am a sore loser normally and sulk like the best of them but its weird seeing everyone content with 1-0 tonight! Maybe its cos, as RT said, its effectively only HT!

We don't have any time to waste at VP, tonight was what it was, created nothing and were let down a little bit by people who've been so good overall I think we can cut them some slack.

But Thursday is massive for us, if we fail, we fail, but we have to give it everything.

Everything.

Bolton will have their own psychological issues to deal with just by way of having a lead to defend and being desperate not to let us back into it - they'll have jitters.

GET AT THEM, and not just a high press, but we need to show our actual quality - which we didn't tonight.

They did for the first 15 minutes and the last twenty and they were wilting. It just wouldn’t drop but still have a great chance. Their away record isn’t good

Never content in defeat, but its not technically full time. I’m listening to radio Leeds and surprised about how negative some callers/messages are.

I thought we were decent enough but like many, would have preferred to have seen us go for a it a little more after Wright came on, who I thought made a positive difference.

We were beaten by one moment of quality by the most talented player on the pitch is how I simply see it.

 

If we had coincided 2 goals tonight I would have thought that it would be difficult for us, it’s all about our game on Thursday, they score against us and it’s a different game.
My biggest concern is that we have to be able to win and put in a fantastic defensive performance on Thursday, it’s that simple.

Sarcevic aside, we don’t have loads that can hurt teams. Do we risk Humphrys and accept that he repeatedly leaves us exposed defensively? I’d say yes and hope that we don’t get punished.

 

Well we may not win many away that’s true but we don’t lose many either. It will actually suit us that you come at us on Thursday rather than sit back as you largely did tonight. I’d expect it to be another tight game and it’s still anybody’s but I think you’ll struggle to stop us getting another so you’d better have better shooting boots than you did tonight.
