Still in the tie, I said before the play offs were confirmed that if we got the 2nd leg at home and lost the first leg by no more than one I would give us a chance.
We didn't have a lot going forward but we did have a big chance for Sarcevic and Jackson.

Nothing to lose now in the 2nd leg, we've had a lot of special games at VP in the last 2 years so no reason we can't make Thursday another one.

I thought same. Humphries is only attacking option that can create a chance out of nothing on that bench.

Just a really poor effort attacking wise, wont get away with that at a rockin' VP on thurs,
Should have got that penalty for the final push on Jackson but we were lucky Duberry hit the post with his second attempt to find the net
Their wide players are better than what we have but that is about it
Do or die on thurs, but City have come back before......

Thought it was that Bolton player who was injured?

Poor decision by GA. In the majority of Humps cameos of the bench he has shown a moment of brilliance and we needed that tonight.

Apart from the goal and the ball off the post it was a very even game, given their quality wingers that was the only difference between the two sides.
All to play for on Thursday

Well, one side had attacking intent. Our aimless balls down the channel cause no headache and their keeper had nothing to do all match. Got to correct that on Thursday.

Good thing for us is that its only 1, there were a few 5/10 min periods where it felt like they had us on the ropes. Got to go all out on Thursday, nothing to lose

Although never happy to lose, I am still confident we can have a special night on Thursday and overcome the narrow deficit.

I thought we defended well, Walker didnt have as much to do as I thought he might.

I thought Neufville handled Cissoku very well and wasnt the threat he was at Valley Parade a fortnight ago.

We need to put their keeper under pressure because I thought he looked very dodgy.

    Roll on Thursday

I thought we defended really well for the most part.

Felt apart from the goal and the chance against the post (hope they come to rue that!!) we had the better chances. Frustrating. We really lack a bit of quality in the final third. Only thing the refs gave us was that Cissokho yellow for diving but we had to be more clinical when we went forward.

That said, my biggest fear was we'd get blown away in the away leg but only a goal in it and a big night at VP to come. I just hope we're up for it.

We are still in this. A one goal deficit was the worst we could afford imo. It may not be a bad thing that we have to win on Thursday. They were obviously the better side tonight but we are a different proposition at home.

I 100% think we purposely played for a point at max tonight. Our midfield never really pushed up aside from the goal. I trust in GA to get us over the line
