This is really taking the P out of the hangers on who come out of the woodwork.
I remember it being in the T&A and the comments it generated.

As did I, but that was then before the points system. It shouldn’t be like that now should it.

There will be alot of casuals waiting to buy a ticket after they see how we get on at their place. If you are a casual you probably aint gunna bother at 3-0 down....

Thursday night at 8pm on TV wont help. Although TV money should subsidise lost revenue.

There will be 1200 seats not used in Midland Road as Bolton have 2179 and we have 1137, unless we get another half a block which might happen.
The rest are lost in segregation nets.

I buy tickets for 5 when we are able to attend games. 10 games this season at £120 a time. We had ST for years til 4 years ago. That makes me a casual i guess and I've bought for the home leg today. Cannot wait whatever the result on Saturday. I've also booked a cheeky parking space at Wembley. Come on City.

The fact that they sold all the remaining Bolton away tickets direct from the ticket office while people were on computers and phones believing they could purchase them online.

It's the first time that's been the case and it wasn't communicated or I'd have happily gone down and queued in the early hours.

Casual to me is someone from Bradford that looks out for the results and maybe turns up to 2 or 3 of the big games each season.

When do hangers on cease to be hangers on ?
Not everyone can attend all, some a few, or no games whatsoever for various reasons , so those who can’t attend every game , are they classed as hangers on? It really is a stupid phrase . Likewise so is this “Loyal” bollocks .

Actually 19,343. If the club has released 2,179 to Bolton, then that is 21,522, @vin weasel@vin weasel suggests a 1,200 segregation zone in the Midland Road. That takes it up to 22,722. Additionally they usually cover three rows at the front of the Kop. The club suggests the amount of seats at VP is 24,840.
That leaves somewhere in the region of 1,600-1,800 not sold at present.

I think the plans were probably all agreed before we knew when the home match was going to be. If we had been playing at 3pm on Saturday then personally I think the take up on tickets would have been better and therefore the club wanted to save as many tickets for our fans as possible but as it is now Thursday 8pm it would have made more sense to give it to Bolton

There are under 1500 available. More maybe released, but in the bottom tier of the Bradford End and A Block of the Main Stand. Perhaps a couple of rows in the Kop. Really it is verging on being a sell out.

So we have sold 19343 and Bolton 2000 and about 1500 available equals about 22850. Either still a fair few to be released or a lot more than usual lost to segragation

I took a screenshot of available tickets before I logged off about 1.00am.

Logged back in about 9.40am to find over half the blue dots had disappeared - not in light blue as if in people's baskets pending - completely unavailable. You're not telling me that people in the 2 points brackets 'suddenly' all realised they hadn't got a ticket and logged in between 1.00am and 9.40am to buy? Or were they allocated to people queuing before the 10.00am switchover?

I had 2 in my basket but got booted out only to find they had all gone by 10.00am.

If they go on sale at 10.00am don't sell them or set them aside to people before that time.

I believe so as I don't know anyone that managed to get a ticket online that morning and plenty, including myself were trying yet I'm reading that everyone in the queue before 8 was given a ticket.

Perhaps just rumours and someone on the forum could set me right of they managed to get a ticket online that particular morning?

I don't mind them setting some aside four people queuing but at least either make it fair by splitting the tickets available online/in person or communicate to the fans if there's a different way that they'll be allocating them such as in person only.
