Well that is just speculation. The Clubs have not said anything about the allocation numbers either here or the other side of the Pennines. I don’t see how clubs who have large attendances are in anyway incentivised to go out of their way to maximise attendance.

So if you can’t go to the ticket office and you can’t go online, what’s your solution?

Sales around 19000 mark , including Bolton fans, not bad for just over 2 days

Main stand and kop not far being sold out. Funny how few seats have sold in blocks F and G of the Midland Road.

    Just measured it...

The 'sandy' area is 100x70 feet so plenty big enough.

I’ve already stated my solution. The 2000 tickets should have gone to the 2000 top points holders to buy at their convenience for 24 hours.

If that was the case how would new fans get the opportunity to ever attend away games.

I think the club did a great and fair job with the tickets home and away for the playoffs and all season.

I was in the second bracket so managed to get away tickets along with my son but a few mates missed out who were just below the threshold but at least they had an opportunity to try

2000 tickets and 16000+ season ticket holders, is never going to work , other than putting everyone's name in a hat and making a draw.

The good view is in the centre, not the ends.

And don't forget the quality drinks the club sell at very reasonable prices.
Surprised they don't offer loyalty points for it.

So you don’t think those few mates just below the threshold should have got a ticket before someone who’s not been to any away games and probably cherry picks the home games too?
I’ve said numerous times that aside from Town and maybe Luton, there was no mad rush for tickets and those with low points had every opportunity to attend all the others but they weren’t interested in those were they? Only the big games?

How would they accumulate the points, if they have not attended the games, home and away?
I thought that's how the loyalty scheme works, you buy the tickets, you get points added and thus build up your total

I agree with this. I've no issue with the hardcore that makes the long way trips getting the tickets. I can't see any reasonable argument against it working like this.

Exactly, that’s the point. You have to attend games and if you don’t, the opportunity to buy tickets for play off semi finals is gone.
I just rang the FA to ask if they’ll be holding back 25% of tickets should England reach the World Cup final? Can you guess the answer?
I then called Arsenal and asked the same for their Champions League final. Same answer I’m afraid.

Whats the club policy regarding backpacks? Can I take mine into the ground or is there a dedicated place where I could store it safely?

Yes you can bring it in if it can squeeze between your knees. It will be searched on entry however.
