When did this play off pettiness come into play?

Stevenage have given Stockport the normal away allocation of 1,350 despite the ground being under 8k in capacity so they could reduce it to 800 if you wanted.

Then you have Salford who have only given Grimsby 550 tickets when they would struggle to get 4k to turn up.

The EFL should be looking for full houses at these games not allowing clubs to see thousands of empty seats and tit for tat policies.

Imagine how good these games would be if the south stand was all Bradford and Midland Road was all Bolton.

I want the atmosphere at the game, and seeing 4.5k Leeds fans fall silent after Billy Knott smashed in from 20 yards was sweeter because their fans were there to see it.

I don’t dispute what you are saying, but it is not the only priority factor. Football has become a business and making sure we stay solvent is a priority. I get the EFL want to distribute monies to clubs who don’t have as many fans, but they often have benefactors who own the clubs.

That’s not the issue which is that there is a demand from fans of both clubs to attend the away leg and we have both clubs stifling that for no good reason other than pettiness of ‘you’re only giving us 2000, so we’ll do same nah nah nah’

Looks like we have some decent play off experience in the squad for the battles over the next week. For the guys who are in the running to make an impact this PO run....

Touray has 3 previous play off campaigns to his name, one victorious with Salford in the 18/19 NL play offs and he scored at Wembley with Salford, and then two play off runs with Stockport in L1 and L2, going out on Pens in both. Baldwin won the NL play offs with Notts County. Max Power had 2 losing L1 PO runs with Sunderland in 2019 and 2021. Metcalfe started both PO losses for Chesterfield last season. Neufville had a successful PO campaign with Wimbledon last season. Nick Powell had a successful 2012 play off run with Crewe as a youth and scored at Wembley, he was injured for PO campaigns at Stockport, Hull and Wigan and didn't make a squad for any of the 3. Lapslie made 2 sub apps for Mansfield in a losing L2 PO effort. Sarcevic has had one losing campaign with Stockport and one winning run with Fleetwood in the L2 play offs in 2014, scoring at Wembley.

Joe Wright has virtually no PO experience, he played 14 minutes in Doncasters losing efforts in 2019. Walker, Tilt, Pennington, T Wright, Pointon, Humphrys, Swan & Jackson have yet to feature in a play off run. I suppose the good with with our crop of zero play offs experience, is that they are pretty much experienced pros on the whole. Knockout football shouldnt concern Walker, Tilt, Jackson etc. Probably only Pointon and T Wright are our younger heads with no PO experience but they might not even feature at this stage.

looks a fantastic uptake of tickets for the home leg so far. Kop pretty much sold out including back rows. sunwin well on the way also and corner sales well on track as well. i think we'll hit a sell out for this if we dont lose by more than a goal on saturday

of course, but is your home gate is 7000 and the other games 20000+
    your laughing
    7000 at £20 gets you £140K
60000 total attendances for the 4 games at £3 a ticket gets you £180k
And dont they share the Wembley ticket money the same way
    Stevenage will be loving it

It's the opposite of how we benefitted during covid when ifollow was introduced. City raked it in when we were away with the home team missing out on revenue

People not keen on the two midland road blocks or the away end.
