Bolton Tickets

Sold out pending transactions being complete. All of these tickets were available but currently in baskets. For anyone wanting a ticket it's worth checking over the next 10-15 minutes for any abandoned carts or failed transactions.

There aren’t the same 2000 fans who go to every away game. There are very many opportunities for people to build up points but they aren’t interested in going to Vertu trophy games or even Tuesday night home games let alone Plymouth for a 12.30 ko yet games come around like this at a local club in a big game and all the standard ST holders go camping. It’s wrong

 

It's only wrong in your opinion. Everyone else thinks the system works fine.

It works fine for me. I just don’t think it’s right that someone who’s say been to 10-15 away games this season and has 3880 points gets the same opportunity as a ST holder who’s been to none.
If I’m the only one who thinks that then fair enough but it’s my opinion

 

I can't see anything wrong with your opinion, my view on it always was that consistent away travel should be rewarded. That said, we have a hard core of about 1000 who go to most away games, after that hardcore get their share I think it should be a free for all.

 

I missed out by 40 points and couldn't get one this morning. It is what it is, there has to be a line somewhere and wherever they draw it there'll still be disappointed people.

For me, both clubs need to take responsibility for this and come to an arrangement about increasing the away capacity at both grounds as I'm absolutely certain, the game at VP at least, won't sell out.

 

I understand both sides of the argument but it riles me when fans who have no desire to travel away during the season then cry that it’s a closed shop when they want to attend a big game and so the club bend over to appease those by holding back what seems to be 25% of tickets.

It’s wrong if one can’t get tickets , yet it’s fine for those that a) can or b) eligible . It’s a system that works, used by most clubs in some form or another.

The system works absolutely for those who travel everywhere, every week and so it should.
I’d like to know if other clubs who have priority schemes hold back 25% of available tickets for general sale. I’m not sure they do.

Safe to say no Bolton fan wants to be sat under the away end. All their other stands are pretty much sold out, maybe a few hundred left at tops.
