Bolton Tickets

Grabbed my home ticket this morning before the mad rush trying to obtain an away one later.

Treated myself to trying the North West corner. My seat had already gone but don't mind that.

 

If the club aren’t gonna use the loyalty system properly ie. If 2000 tickets are available then the points required should be the top 2000 not the top 1500 and 500 for general, then the only way to make it a level playing field to obtain those remaining tickets is to ONLY sell at the ticket office. That way, those that want them the most will get them.
I very much doubt that other clubs with priority systems allow any to go to general sale.

 

I hope it’s only one per season ticket holder in the queue just like for online sales?

 

one per season ticket number so one person can buy as many as they want as long as they have the correct number connected via friends and family

 

Of course it will but one person will have all the membership numbers of their group.

 

Fantastic effort once again from all who's camped out overnight.

Must admit, I woke at 3:30am and saw the queue online and I did think about it but I rolled over and went back to sleep.
If I get one online, great, if not, it's an afternoon of playing Cricket [probably getting out for a duck, again!] and then drink the night away.

 

They keep some back so that it doesn't remain a closed shop which imo is absolutely correct.

If we already had 2000 fans who did every away game how is any new fan who wants to make that commitment to travel to every game supposed to get tickets?

 

Yeah i saw there was about 500ish late last night and a section they hadn't sold yet, thought maybe there would be 800/900ish for sale today, i might have a chance online at 10am....... don't think that's likely now!

 

North West Corner is brilliant - used to sit there with the kids years ago. You get Kop atmosphere, but get a good angle to appreciate the football.

 

I think it was with asking 4240 & 3900 for the first two batches, I have 3800 I usually do around 10 away games a season and have purchased a membership since the scheme started 4/5 season ago and that 100 points per season.

 

That's the flaw in the system. The away support is essentially a closed shop of those who've built up the points. Outsiders can't get in to build up the points themselves. I'd like to go to the occasional away game but would rarely if ever have a chance of getting a ticket.

 

Not sure that's entirely correct as most have gone to general sale this season.

 

Similar for me. Im on 3860, but strangely I usually qualify in the 2nd loyalty point batch, even when we've had lower allocations. Not sure if they've held more back for this one?
No loyalty scheme is foolproof though, so there will always be winners and losers. At least it's better than where we were a few years ago.

 

I think most games do have tickets that go all the way to general sale, it does take a bit of effort sometimes to get them though and of course all the bigger, localish fans have been well attended this year due to the new division. I suspect, if we aren't promoted, it'll get a bit easier to get away tickets next year.

 

Away has disappeared off the ticketing site, does that mean all sold before 10am? In person maybe??

 

I'm guessing so. I'm in the same boat. Fair enough if people have camped out or queued up this morning as they should be given priority in my view, as long as they are season ticket holders of course!

 

Yep, just seen that. They were on 10 mins ago. We’ll see if they pop back on at 10

 

I would imagine they've taken them off line until 10 to stop people adding them to the basket before 10. If the tickets were sold out it would still have it listed and say sold out.

 

Got in, all the blue dots are faded out, dont think any are available
