Yep they don't complain when they can't sit there for R1 fa cup or football league trophy games

 

That's my guess as to the clubs reasoning, although it is a significant change for the sake of shaving around 400 off the visiting numbers.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, the club should provide more of an explanation on things like this as once again the lack of transparency has resulted in another PR own goal.

 

I did notice the ticketing site was very laggy this morning with just a few hundred people trying to login at the same time.
Fast forward to tomorrow with 15000 trying and it’ll just crash.

 

Oh dear! To add to the problem there will also be the 2nd batch of Loyalty point holders trying to get their away tickets at the same time. Tomorrow is going to be fun!

 

Bolton at £20 on a Saturday evening will be a sell out.

Led to believe tickets for the home end are easy to get if anyone's desperate for the 1st leg.

Got my tickets for the away leg.
Think we will keep it tight and get back for the second leg with a real good chance of getting to the final.

If it's 0-0 at half time in the first leg I'll be very optimistic. They'll come at us early but I fancy our bench to help us out if it's tight. The longer we stay in the tie the more I fancy us.

The downside of being at home first is the pressure is on to get forward and take a lead for the away leg. That might play right into our hands. Their wingers are dangerous but also not keen to track back which will leave gaps for Jackson, Touray and Neufville to exploit. We can’t afford to just park the bus for 90 mins.

 

It would be good PR to at least comment why this situation has arisen, is it a request from Alexander that we have City fans in both ends just in case it goes to penalties, I'd be very surprised if that was done at Alexander's request.
With regards tickets for Bolton away I'll take my chance when they go on general sale as I only have 3800 points but if the situation is the same as the last visit to Bolton and the problems getting out after the game I'm not really too fussed, a couple of bottles and the TV will suffice, yes it's an age thing .

The bonus is that both can be bought together, the downside is the potato server being used is likely to fry.

 

From what I saw of Bolton the last game of the season with their two wide lads they won't need encouragement to get forward.

 

As long as we dont fold in the away leg, and we take them to VP level or even a goal down there is every chance.

They are poor at the back, that said we dont score many so I see another 2 tight games.
