Is that our allocation for the away leg?

I had assumed that the idea of providing most of the MR stand for the Bolton away fans was some kind of quid pro quo arrangement between the clubs but clearly not.

We should give them exactly the same allocation.

I can't see myself getting one if that's all we're getting.

Which is fair enough, but was definitely hoping for more than that to give us a better chance.

we have given them less than we gave them for the league match, so they have done the same. That was obviously the deal. We both give as close to the minimum as possible.

I’d rather have plastic sheets and forsake some (unexpected anyway) income to give them the bare minimum 2,000 seeing as they’re playing games

Nah, we'll just move the home fans to the crap stand and get them in prime seats instead.

I hope City have just matched that figure. Nothing on Bolton website as yet.

If we have given them blocks A to D, Im fairly sure thats a few hundred more than we've got. Had our pants pulled down again I think.....

Unfortunately, the extra income earned from an additional 1,000 away fans in the play-offs is peanuts. We don't get the full benefit from the extra income since it is shared between the EFL and the 4 play-off teams.

Unpopular opinion, but I actually think we've handled the home seating well. We're not giving Bolton fans many tickets AND we're positioning them where they can have the least impact on the game.

I think it's unrealistic for season ticket holders to expect their reserved seat for essentially a cup match. And this is coming from someone who is a season ticket holder in Midland Road.

i thought the rules state 10% of capacity 2051 of the tough shit stadium is 7.14%
Give them the bloody same for VP 24800 x 7.14 = 1770 , 3 blocks in Midland road and move the netting over towards the kop and allow any of our season ticket holders affected the spare seats in the rest of the blocks Simple really.

I think we are giving them the required10% , something they are not giving us by the look of things

You've misunderstood the away allocation calculation. The home club has to provide a minimum of 2,000 tickets for away fans or 10% of the official capacity if it's less than 20,000. Both Bolton and us have to provide a minimum of 2,000 tickets given the capacity of our respective stadium. How many more than 2,000 is provided is a matter for the home club.

They will have A-E in Midland Road. But I imagine there will be a block buffer between home and away fans, so let's say 4/7 blocks. 4/7 of 4500 total seats = 2571

That now makes a bit more sense. So Im guessing we've given them the minimum number of Midland Road blocks that takes it over that 2000 minimum. As has been said, our biggest problem for these games is that the TL Dallas holds only 1800, which means we need to make more seats available. No easy solution I guess

This is it, I think. There is no combination of blocks to give them exactly 2000, and we can't exactly have away and home fans in the same block.
