    The Midland Road has a maximum capacity of 4,500, split into 7 blocks (which differ slightly in the number of seats. So around 640-650 each block.
    If Botlon get the equivalent of 4 blocks, then City will have given them around 2,700.

    someone at the club has the great theory that the team will play better with our fans behind both goals. Not sure who but I think it is BS as the same was said for Carlisle game and all the footballing side has changed since.

    Also doing it the way they have actually gives more tickets to home fans, just not where people want them

    So they should really have just given Bolton the same allocation as they had for the league game and alllowed all home fans to keep their usual ST seat.

    I think they end up with a couple of hundred more this way. The other factor of course is if it ends in a penalty shoot as it may well do. We'll have our fans behind both goals which is an advantage.

    Had we finished 5th, I'd imagine they may have stuck to the F, G and TL Dallas.

    Well if we were to get promoted we would need the Dallas Stand to get the best financial return from many games where the away support would out number the amount we could accommodate, as you righty said the Bolton fans didn't have a problem with part of the Midland Road Stand and the full allocation of the Dallas stand.

    That occurred to me. I dont see an advantage in general play but yes in the potential scenario of a penalty shoot it, that could work in our favour.
    Not sure my nerves could handle that though!!

    If we completely sell the home end I'll apologise to the club for doubting the difference the extra £32.60 we'll eventually receive from the game will make to us then.

    Yes in an ideal world , ignoring the regs like some clubs do under some made up “ problem” , then the Midland Rd would be all home fans.
