I would imagine that the clubs spoke about this eventuality before today and came up with some kind of arrangement that both felt was fair. So I wonder how the split is working as a percentage of available seats at the 2 grounds.

Must admit for so many reasons it does seem illogical to move away from a tried and tested crowd management plan that has served the club well all season to what has now been decided. I really don't see thst having City fans behind both goals gives us a competitive advantage which can be the only reason for this decision.

Because it’s better to have City fans behind both goals !
Didn’t we do the same when we played Carlisle ?

Does it mean that for 48 hours season ticket holders can purchase there own seats for the match?

If we only get 2100 at their place and we've still moved "home fans" because we didn't deem 2700 enough for them then it's very poor from the club.

If we've had a discussion and the only way to get more away tickets was to increase our own away capacity then I'm fully behind it.

Perhaps it will all become clear today when the away allocation is announced.

No. It means for 48 hours Season ticket holders can purchase any available seat in the home sections. If you want to sit with friends and family you'll probably need to be fairly quick off the mark.

No. All seats are available as that wouldn’t be fair to fans in the Midland Road stand. Did similar against Carlisle 3 years ago.

Also don't forget that some will also wait off on buying until after the first leg result.

2 or 3 goal defeat there (god forbid) will put a load of

16,000 season ticket holder’s have 21,000 seats to choose from, there will be 5,000 left before general sales, don’t panic

The extra revenue gained from getting into the play offs isn’t to be sniffed at either …say 48-50,000 bums on seats over two legs , divided by 3 after costs ….More income for next season.

The club has recently received a great response from existing season ticket holders for the 2026/27 aeason tickets. Despite that, they now expect every ST holder to change seats, even change stands for many thousands of fans, for perhaps the most significant home league game of the current season. They don't come much bigger. What a way to reward the loyalty of its own fans. The beneficiaries of the club's policy are the Bolton fans who will be provided with some of the best viewing seats in the ground. It illustrates to me how little the club respects its own fans' loyalty. It appears that Ryan and Paula don't appreciate that loyalty is expected to work in both directions!

Morning All, slightly thick head but I suppose we go again.

I can’t even be bothered to argue about this carry on yet again.
This concept of having City fans behind both goals I just don’t get either.
If the Bradford End sells out full of City (maybe fair enough) but it won’t.
We had the same arguments for the Carlisle game.

One thing I can’t remember, how much is top tier of Bradford End plus normal blocks of Midland Road out of interest?

I’d email the club/Paula but what’s the point anymore, they simply couldn’t give a toss.

No. The revenues from every play-off semi final after the individual clubs have deducted their own costs is accumulated and then shared 5 ways between the 4 clubs and the EFL. Those clubs with smaller gates or lower capacities gain from the arrangement,

5his isn't about simply increasing revenues, it's a reflection of our club ignoring the loyalty of its own fans.

The way I read it, no tis a free for all amongst ST holders.
