Fairly certain he played well against us in the pizza car cup thingy earlier in the season? I saw that Bolton have a loan fee on him, they can make the move a permanent one for £1.2m this summer. If they go up, i'd say that one is a complete no-brainer. Spending that in L1 on one player for a club announcing the debts they have might be a stretch.

He was excellent, we definitely need to do a better job of marking him should we face them again this season

If we don’t make the playoffs, it won’t be the Exeter result that costs us - it’s the likes of Peterborough, Barnsley and Reading away where we threw points away by switching off. You could also say Wimbledon away where we put out a weak starting XI, results in January when the transfer window was ongoing, Huddersfield away where we simply didn’t turn up; the likes of Burton away and Leyton Orient away where we had numerous gilt edge chances and could have been 3-0 up in both games yet managed to lose them.

Having said that we’ve won games when we perhaps didn’t deserve to, so it all balances out.

We will finish where we deserve to finish and if it’s 7th then it is what it is. Somehow I don’t feel as stressed as I did this time last year!

I know what you mean about feeling less stressed. Last year just felt like so much more pressure not to mess up and get ourselves promoted. My stress levels last year at the Fleetwood match were off the scale, I went beyond anger and frustration and think at one point i was just silently weeping!

I actually managed to enjoy the Bolton match and appreciate what we have achieved to be in this position, it felt like a privilege that the team has worked hard to earn. That's not me saying i won't be distraught to drop out of the playoffs at the last match but if we do or if we fail to get to wembley or fail to win at wembley it won't be the end of the world and there will be positives we can build on.

We've come a long way in a short time, I've come to terms with the fact Alexander has us higher up the table than this squad really should be, over the last few weeks have shown it's limitations pretty clearly. What ever happens now this season has shown we are not just here to make up the numbers or are a club happy to consolidate around mid table. The scenes on Manningham Lane from 2 o'clock onwards represent just how far this club has improved, fans of other clubs remarking on what this club now is and should thought of, a genuine candidate to battle for promotion either this season or the coming seasons.
Never been a better time to be a Bradford fan.

Agree Bolton will not want Luton to get into the play offs and surely they’ll do what they can to prevent it.
It’s likely Stockport will take 3rd place and Bolton will fancy their chances against us over 2 legs.

Sky channel 404 has a League 1 game advertised for the main game on their programme planner.

No teams announced yet but our game covers both ends of the table so I’d be surprised if it wasn’t us.

Ahhh fair enough, i just checked the Sky Sports TV guide page and under football they only have some WSL games and the PL Saturday night fixture, no mention at all for L1 or L2 as of yet on their page.

If they are just picking one game to show from L1 and L2 as both KO at the same times, Crawley vs Salford might be picked. Crawley need something to stay up and Salford need a win to have a chance for promotion.

No mention of a league 2 game.

The heading just says “ A match from the final day of the League 1 season” starting at 2.45 pm.

I think there are two channels showing a game, both say league 1 but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one from each league. Was our game v Fleetwood on last season?

Anyhow of the fixtures, 12 in total and should Stockport get a point midweek and Peterborough avoid defeat only 5 would have any meaning. Unless Stockport and Peterborough were beaten by 4 or 5 goals midweek neither have much to worry about due to superior goal difference over those below them.

So in my eyes the picks are,

    Stevenage v Wigan
Northampton v Plymouth (though lots of events elsewhere would need to fall into place)
Bolton v Luton (again relying on results elsewhere)
    Leyton Orient v Burton
Exeter v Bradford (Exeter relying on the Leyton Orient game)

I'd put Exeter v Bradford having an effect on both side as No1, then probably Bolton v Luton due to Luton being the side most likely to shake things up at the top.

The relegation battle in league 2 is insane with no teams down as yet, and also 3rd place can be won by 3 separate teams, so i would be surprised if one of those game doesn't make it to coverage on Sky.

Looking at the EFL page, they say the matches on TV should be announce the week prior to kick off. So i guess they should have already been announced but i cant find a thing about it. Probably later today maybe?

Just looked again and there are now 3 channels saying league 1 final day games.
    Channels 401,403 and 404.
I’d be very surprised if we weren’t one of them.

As you say the bottom of league 2 is very interesting so wouldn’t be surprised if one of those got its own channel towards the end of the week.

I thought that every Lge 1 & 2 game on the final day was being shown live on Sky Sports+?

Edit - Just looked on the Now app and as I thought, every game is being shown live on Sky Sports+

This is the form table for the last 10 games.

As it stands it kind of plays into the fact Bolton can't really afford to lose to Luton on Saturday. If Luton get in they will win the play offs. If they don't and it's Bolton, Bradford, Stockport and Stevenage then it's actually up for grabs as all 4 are in mixed form.

They are, it's more a discussion on which games are selected for the main channels.

At the minute on the sky website and app they don't have any listed. But if you go on the TV guide, there are a handful of slots awaiting the announced games to be listed for L1 & L2. On the EFL site it says the games should have been agreed by now.

No one wants to face Luton in the playoffs therefore I can see Bolton going all out to beat them on Saturday. If the results go Lutons way I expect them to win the playoffs, they have badly underachieved this season with that squad to not be in the playoffs.

Wasn’t that impressed when we played them at their place we definitely should have taken something from that fixture

Not how the playoffs work, always fear the team in form. 24 point out of 30 is only below Lincoln.
Pulled us back 11 points in 10 games, I'd rather be in our position but we've made getting a playoff place a lot harder than it should have been.
