No because Firesticks are easily available and there is nothing dodgy about them, however the IPTV suppliers which feed programmes to Firesticks are getting rained in by SKY etc resulting so much harder to view so called “ dodgy “ streams . Do you want to buy two Firesticks ;)

Enjoy your retirement, it is great, but a fixed income has its limitations. We too haven’t renewed, our are health related, it has been hard not renewing, but hard to justify paying out for ST when you can’t attend. Like you, we will turn up when we can.

I hope you both are fit enough to attend a few games next season. I remember my dad having to reluctantly call it a day due to health after he had been going for 87 years. It was a tough but inevitable choice for him at the time.

We are going today, but the warm weather helps. We have been going regularly since 1988, but I started going in 1967. The other half started going when he was 10 years old by himself, so he has been going for 68 years. We used to just turn up at the kop, bang £7 on the turnstile and stood in the old kop. We bought our first season tickets when we moved across to the Sunwin Stand in the early 90’s.

We nearly caved in and bought one for next season, but it is just under a £1000, for the two of us. We have exe seats as it gave my hubby more room to stretch his legs and back. We have missed more than half of the matches this year.

It’s sad but has to be done if circumstances become untenable . The live occassion leaves you but the heart will always be with the club, through thick and thin . As much as I detest Sky they may eventually allow us to see every game . Anything has to be better than listening on the radio/ audio…..It’s tragic in 2026! Stay safe !

Are they really raining in the IPTV suppliers? I see the headlines in the press but those people that I know that have them are still using the same people without any real hassle. Maybe they have just been lucky or it is just smoke and mirrors by Sky etc to project an image that they are doing something so they can keep the prices high?

Apparently the new fire stick are using a different software version which wont allow IPTV to be installed, but there are thousands of Android box's out there that can, and for every supplier they catch another opens.
    So I'm told.

My dad was the calmest and most laid back man you could ever meet and took everything in his stride.

2 very contrasting moments stand out for me with him.

The first is when we got home on 11th May 1985 from the match and the realisation of what we had witnessed sunk in. His face was truly haunted as he tried to explain to mum.

The second was the beaming face walking into Wembley for the first time for the 1996 play off final.

He will definitely be looking down today thats for sure

I couldn’t make it today due to other commitments meaning I wouldn’t have got to VP on time. I watched it on one of the couple of streaming sites I know will work. Jamie Raynor was on commentary so no idea where these sites get their streams from. Sky should scrap the 3pm black out and reduce their prices if they want it to stop.

Sky aren't the one who enforce the black out, it is at the request of the FA to protect the whole pyramid. Sky could reduce Sky Sports to £10 per month and it won't make a difference as it's still more than what these streaming platforms charge and would still need a TNT Sports etc subscription which adds to the cost.
