Areet Yorkies . Hows life on the wrong side of the Pennines ?

Not really sure what to expect from tomorrow . Id like us to turn up shake hands and walk off with a point apeice.
We have an injury ravaged midfield and a suspended right back/right wing back with no real replacement .
Surprisingly we are decent going forward but not great defensively .
The fear for us apparently is that you lot are gonna go thru us studs up to nobble as many as possible . Not really sure where that comes from , I havent heard you are that kind of team .

Sarcevic is guarenteed to score against us so we will need at least a goal , Johnny Kenny being our main threat and Dalby looking to get on the end of crosses from Duberrry and or Gale /Sissoko .
Itd be great for this to be a full commitment , no quarter game but just cant see it .

Incidentally our next 5 games could be Bradford , Luton, Luton , Luton , Bradford .

Been to your place loads in the 80s/90s , always remember a freezing cold tuesday night game 4-4 with 3 red cards.
I was pleased when you came up , far too big for that division and I wish we had a dopted the kids for a quid scheme that you introduced , that was a great move .

Not to kiss your arses but its always seemed like a small affiliation with the clubs due to us both being thru disasters .

One last little story maybe worth a mention is that I went Valley Parade with me Dad for an FA Cup match , think we were given one of the sides. Came out after the game , in Wanderers scarfs and hats , turned a corner , right into a mob of about 30-40 casuals . Pit in the stomach , squeaky bum time . We never even got so much as a dirty look as the mob sprinted past us shouting "Boltons round the corner" . About 3 minutes later they came back jogging past us and said to the stagglers " There was only about 5 of them" .
I was impressed at the time that they didnt bother as it wasnt worth a challenge .

Hey Ho , hope its a cracking roses derby but I reckon itll be a damp squib .
    See ya at Wembley

"Who won the bloody war anyway!"

I can see Plymouth especially picking up maximum 6 points from their last two games

    Morning fellow bantams
Let’s get those points so we can all relax next Saturday
If the 3 lads are ready to return, we then won’t need to rush them back in what could be a very tough game at Exeter
Today is again going to be one fantastic day whatever the result
Let’s pay our respects to our lost friends and then roar the team on with every breath
What ever the outcome, it’s been another season of improvement and hopefully we can push on again, even without some billionaire loaning the club money,

Gorgeous day. Temp about 18c by the time we kick off. Last home match of this season. I always view the playoffs as separate. Looks like we will have a full stadium.

I know we only need a point but I would love to see us win, although it is the City way to leave it till last minute. So who knows.
Memorial Day, always feel sad as no doubt the Bantams both at home and away feel exactly the same.

This morning feels like the morning of the Fleetwood match. I know it shouldnt because victory is just another possible step toward promotion as opposed to automatic promotion on the day.

Really looking forward to pre match drinks, build up to the game in the stadium and of course the match.

Lets back the lads to the hilt all game and stay behind them even if things are not going our way.

    Enjoy the day everyone

I know, that's exactly why I think it's not great that Stockport and Stevenage play early.

We actually need 2 points to be certain Mrs O, unless Plymouth and Luton both fail to win, therefore a win required or it goes to the wire next weekend

Or Bradford, Luton, Bradford, Bradford, Luton, and then if you lose the playoff final it could be Bradford, Bradford in the first two games next season.

Bolton have drawn 17 games this season. Highest in the league with most around the 10/11 mark. Seven more than us. So a draw wouldn't be surprising but I feel both teams will want to win as it makes the last match much easier.

I'm not sure why. Against us I thought they were massively limited and even though we were miles from what we are capable of we still completely dominated.

They've two decent strikers who may carry them through but zero creativity and if you can win either the first ball or the knock downs they literally had zero threat.

With it being the last home game it's always an emotional game, but once again our destiny is in our own hands, 3 points then we go onto Exeter and cement 3rd spot in the play offs.
Bolton and their fans will be just as anxious as us and as their points total is better than ours they my feel a point is good.

And here’s the thing. Can you imagine what Horwich Wanderers are feeling. There away form is not cracking and they are away from home. I’m sure they will be just as nervous about today. That said, they do score a lot of goals and thats a worry with our defence which is not great.

I can't see how they'll be as anxious as us. There's no way they can miss out on play offs.

You could be right, personally the pre match remembrance will effect me far more than the game.

Of course they can miss out.
A 2-0 loss today and a 2-0 win for Luton will just need Luton to beat them by 2 goals on the last day and theyll be out.
Edit: Actually that’s 1 goal short but you get the drift, they aren’t safe in the play offs yet and won’t want to risk losing today

Just had a text from a fellow City fan who says there could be a couple of attacking additions to Tuesday night squad.

I believe Alexander intimated Sarcevic was nearer than the other player who I thought might be available for the Exeter game, I would hope Alexander loads up with attacking options no matter who he starts possibly at the expense of a second keeper ?.
