Season tickets 2026/27 Seats reserved until 23.59 Friday 10/4/2026(with Poll)

Only a few days to go until deadline day, anyone with an update for season tickets sold

 

I'm sure posters on here are aware that the last day to purchase an early bird season ticket finishes tommorow.

Leaves quite a few from this season to still renew though

 

So either 1500 are leaving it to the last minute to renew or are not renewing

 

They normally have a busy last day of the early bird
But if 1500 of your existing customers , about 9.5% don't renew, you might need to look into why.

 

Price increase?
Kids £35 tickets not renewed due to age now?
Some fans no longer with us?
Some fans moved away?

 

Price increases, people moving location, people skint, deaths, waiting to see if we are promoted.

Cheaper tickets was always going to attract very casual fans who hop in and out. But 1700 new fans subsidises it anyway!

 

We've had a price increase for the last few years and we've hit over 16,000. An excellent showing in an age where there is so much else to do for kids and adults alike.

 

Multiple reasons .

Moved away ( like me, son &daughter)
University
Youngsters losing interest or finding other “interests”
Affordability

Many many more.

 

And just because folk haven't renewed, doesn't mean they wont rock up at VP on pay on the day....its a big commitment is a football season ticket. Takes up a good chunk of your Saturdays over the year! Im sure most have had it from the Mrs at some point....

 

My missus can't wait to get me out of the house lol.

 

I always wonder how many of these ‘new’ fans are current fans that moved seats and just didn’t do it right and ended up setting up a new account as it was easier. The numbers always seem similar.

 

Could be. A drop of 1500 existing ticket holders after the run we've had the last two seasons does seem excessive.

 

Mines fine with it, she likes I have a hobby but guess we are the lucky ones. There is the odd occasion I have to miss a game for family occasions or a weekend away. Had an ex who wasn't keen and like a young fool I gave in!!! Colin Todd days though so didn't miss much...

 

I totally agree. I was just responding to the question about why a lot havent renewed yet for next season.

It’s so much easier and less hassle when the Mrs comes with you.

 

If the club are still using the same definition of new then it's someone who didn't have a season ticket this season. Last season we had just under 500 who didn't renew and nearly 3,000 new.

 

I understand that peoples situations change and lots might still re new before the early bird deadline tonight
It just seem that 1500, or almost 10% seems a lot to me.
2 to 300 maybe, if it was my business i would wonder why, especially after the two years we have had.
